Sales of SPHP Rice Reach 564 Thousand Tons, Bapanas Ensures Prices Continue to Drop

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The National Food Agency (Bapanas) and Bulog Corporation recorded the realization of the Sales of Food Supply and Price Stabilization Rice (SPHP) nationally reaching 564.6 thousand tons until October 30, 2025. This achievement is a significant indicator of the strengthening of state intervention to maintain rice price stability at the consumer level. The government through Bapanas emphasized that price control will continue to be strengthened so that fluctuations in the market remain controlled. Head of Bapanas Andi Amran Sulaiman conveyed that rice prices have already started to decrease in most regions of Indonesia.
