The Government of Paraná launched this Monday (1st), at the Guaíra Theater in Curitiba, the Patrulheiros da Sustentabilidade program, a new strategy to modernize the rural infrastructure of the State and strengthen the relationship between agricultural production and environmental preservation. The initiative was presented by Governor Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior and represents another step in the construction of a development model by which Paranaense agriculture grows in a sustainable, innovative, and connected way to the protection of natural resources. The Patrulheiros da Sustentabilidade will train 3,000 machinery operators of yellow machinery, such as motor graders, tractors, loaders, excavators, and rollers. With an investment of R$ 7.5 million, the objective is to improve trafficability, reduce river silting, increase soil protection, train technical workforce, and strengthen agricultural competitiveness.
