In Ukraine, the selling prices for table beets have begun to decline this week, according to the EastFruit project. The decrease, which has seen prices fall to 8-14 UAH/kg (a 13% drop from the previous week), is due to a decrease in demand and an increase in the supply of substandard beets. Despite the declining quality and rapidly diminishing stocks, Ukrainian producers are still achieving prices significantly higher than those in early April 2023. This situation is comprehensively analyzed in the EastFruit Ukraine Weekly Pro report.
