(Agraria.pe) Table grape exports from Peru are showing signs of recovery and approaching last season's levels, according to Adam Formica, Chief Scientific Officer at Sensonomic. Although in week 41 shipments accumulated a 25% delay compared to the previous year, by week 43 the difference had reduced to 14%. According to the details, by week 43 of the 2025-2026 campaign, shipments reached 7.7 million boxes (each weighing 8.2 kilos), compared to the 8.9 million boxes achieved in the same period of the 2024-2025 campaign. Formica detailed that the Red Globe variety (which reached 2.2 million boxes) continues to be the main reason for the shortfall in total volumes, while the White Seedless (which reached 3.6 million boxes) also maintains a slight delay compared to last year.
