[Reporter Lee Jang-hee, Korean Farmers' Newspaper] The Icheon City Agricultural Technology Center (Director Lee Tae-young) won the Excellent Organization Award for Youth Farmer Development at the '2025 Agricultural Science and Technology Achievement Sharing Conference' held by the Rural Development Administration on December 3. This award was selected as the only one among the national agricultural technology centers after about a month of evaluation. Icheon City has been highly evaluated for its outstanding achievements in various areas such as 4-H Club cultivation, strengthening the capabilities of young farmers, establishing a customized settlement foundation, supporting innovative agricultural practices, job creation, organizing groups, and excellent young farmers. Director Lee Tae-young of the city's agricultural technology center said, "This award is a recognition of the local efforts.
