REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) invites the public to actively monitor and strictly oversee the distribution of rice aid for natural disaster victims in Sumatra, to ensure the distribution runs transparently and reaches the intended targets. To date, the government has distributed 1,200 tons of rice aid worth Rp 16 billion to expedite the fulfillment of the needs of affected communities. In total, the government plans to distribute 10,000 tons of rice aid. Kementan emphasizes that public involvement is crucial to prevent potential deviations in the field.
