The North Central region leads the pace of soybean planting in Mato Grosso

The advancement of soybean planting continues at a steady pace in Mato Grosso, driven by the resumption of rains in part of the state. The regularization of the water regime in recent weeks has allowed for consistent progress in field activities, especially in the more traditional production regions. According to the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (IMEA), by October 31, 2025, the state had already surpassed 76.13% of the area sown with soybeans in the 2025/26 crop. The total estimate for the cycle is approximately 13 million hectares, consolidating Mato Grosso as the leading national producer of the oilseed.
