[Agricultural, Fisheries, and Livestock Newspaper=Reporter Park Nara] The Chungnam Provincial Assembly (Chairperson Hong Sung-hyun) has officially launched the establishment of the "Chungnam-style community center public meal model" as it concludes the research service for improving the quality of meals at community centers and expanding eco-friendly food ingredients. The public meal activation research group held a final report meeting at the Yesan campus of Gongju University on the 2nd, sharing the results of their analysis of the operational status and supply structure of meals at 4,736 community centers in the province. According to the survey, community center meals are currently operated 3.4 times a week, but the use of eco-friendly food ingredients is limited to the level of rice and mixed grains support in some cities and counties, indicating a lack of a systematic public meal foundation. Additionally, the support system for departments is fragmented.
