The share of profitable agricultural organizations in crop production, animal husbandry, hunting, fishing, and fish farming in January-September this year decreased to 77.8% (in 2024, for the same period, it was 79.1%), according to Rosstat data. Specifically, in crop production, animal husbandry, hunting, and the sector providing related services in these industries, the indicator was 79.3% compared to 81.7% a year earlier. Losses across the industry for the first three quarters were received by 22.2% (20.9% a year earlier), in crop production, animal husbandry, and hunting, 20.7% (18.3%). In fishing and fish farming, for the first nine months of 2025, 70.5% of organizations were profitable, and 29.5% were unprofitable, compared to 57.7% and 42.3% respectively last year.
