Tobacco harvest advances with positive expectation in Rio Grande do Sul

The Conjunctural Report released by Emater/RS-Ascar on Thursday (27) indicates that tobacco cultivation maintains good performance in different regions of Rio Grande do Sul. According to the document, in the administrative area of Frederico Westphalen, "the climatic conditions of the period were favorable for the development of the crop." According to the publication, producers continue to perform top dressing, weeding, and applications of pesticides, while the harvest has begun in the first areas, "with good productivity and quality."
