In early September, regions such as Yunnan and Guangxi began harvesting macadamia nuts. Shuangjiang County in Lincang, Yunnan, celebrated the start of its harvest season with a ceremony, with 152,600 mu of macadamia nuts ready for harvest. Lincang City, the world's largest macadamia planting base, has a planting area of 2.6277 million mu, producing 96,500 tons of dried shelled nuts in 2023. Guangxi's Chongzuo City, the second-largest planting area in China, anticipates a total output of 77,300 tons of green-skinned fruits. The purchase price of 'Guire No. 1' nuts is expected to remain stable and potentially increase compared to last year.
