High quality organic Black Pepper

World De Sence is a recently established family enterprise offering some of the best quality products on the global market. It was established in 2019 and operates as a cultivator, processor, trader, supplier, and exporter of spices and vegetables. The company seeks to provide naturally grown products of the best quality to the wider global market.

The company owns a warehouse facility where products are packed in a variety of sizes. The packaging is largely based on customer requirements and the company is able to prepare consignments down to the finest detail of a client’s demands. Sea shipment is the preferred mode of delivery and consignments are ready within 40 days of order notification.

The company adheres to strict quality parameters necessary to meet all the requirements set by the Sri Lankan government standards. The company has also been given the authorization to export by the government.

World De Sence owns a number of selected lands in Kandy and Kegalle, collectively covering 200 acres. The company utilizes a sustainable farming model and an average annual yield of 10 metric tons is harvested between December and January. After harvesting the unripe berries are sun-dried and raked to ensure uniformity. The dried berries are then garbled, graded and packed in gunny bags. White pepper is prepared from ripe berries or by decorticating black pepper. After harvesting the berries are detached from the stalk, packed in bags, soaked in running water, trampled under feet to remove any adhering pericarp, washed in water and then sun-dried to reduce the moisture content to 10 – 12% and to achieve a creamy white colour. It is then garbled, sorted and packed in bags.

World De Sence offers high quality, organic Black, and White Pepper. Black pepper is renowned for its high nutritional content, including antioxidants, and it is also a flavourful spice preferred in many dishes. White pepper is milder than black pepper but still offers tremendous flavour. It possesses a great amount of nutrition, including antioxidants and a healthy dose of fibre, manganese, and iron. The pepper is produced in a variety of sizes for human consumption and has a shelf life of 2 years. Samples are available upon request.
