The average production of hibiscus flowers is approximately 300-400 containers. The cultivation and packaging unit is in Nigeria where the main harvest season starts from November and goes up to April/May. Harvesting is done manually once the flowers are fully blooming by handpicking. The stamens are removed from the flowers, this is followed by the flowers being washed to remove dirt and insects.
