The fruits are packed into carton boxes of 4kg (Europe), 6kg (China) or 20kg (Dubai). The final product is stored in temperature and humidity-controlled storage areas. The products are ready to be shipped in 7 to 10 days after payment confirmation days after payment confirmation. The most common ways of export overseas are by air or marine freight and for shorter distances inland transport. The main port used for export to China and Japan is the Manzanillo Port. For the European market, the main ports used are the Tampico or the Veracruz ports.

Description
The average yield per year of avocados is 1000 metric tons. The cultivation area is located in the Michoacán region and spreads across 2500 ha. The region has the best agroecological conditions for the cultivation which is also backed by the statistical data. The harvest season begins from August and ends in the month of April. The highest yield is seen between the months of October and April. The cultivation processes involve several steps like a plantation, plant development, floral induction, chemical or organic fertilization, diseases control with foliar aspersions, fruit development and harvest. The cultivation process is conventional sustainable farming. The techniques used for cultivation involve various types of soil enrichment regulated by COFEPRIS (Federal Commission for the Protection Against Sanitary Risks). Steps are taken to ensure that the spread of plagues and diseases are monitored. In addition, foliage analysis, physical and chemical analysis, salinity and pH analysis are done.

Description
Mexicolombo offers avocados of the Hass and Hass-Mendez variety. They are dark green in colour with different calibres. The calibres are usually dependent on the region preference for Europe and Canada: 12, 14, 16,18, 22, 24 and 26 and for the USA: 32, 36, 40, 48, 60, 70, 84. The product is best suited for consumption as they are fresh. The production region Michoacan is famous for its knowledge in a particular product. Avocados from the particular region have high quality, consistency, texture and fruit. The durability of avocado is up to 30 days in ideal conditions in a controlled chamber. Cultivation can be done using either conventional or organic methods. Samples are available upon request.
