Amisec Industrial Co. Limited packs the ginger in a modern packaging and warehouse facility where they store products after sorting and cleaning. The ginger is packed in 40 kg PP bags or according to the buyer's requirement. It is then stored on pallets in the warehouse with cross ventilation. The warehouse has humidity and moisture controlled environment and fumigated on a regular basis. It is ensured that there is adequate ventilation so the ginger does not lose its characteristic pungent smell and oil content. Each consignment preparation time is around 1 week after order confirmation.

Amisec Industrial Co. Limited has an average yield of 10000 metric tons per year. The ginger is cultivated using traditional farming methods and local farmer outgrown programs. The main harvest season starts from May and goes up to November.

The cultivation area for ginger is located in Nigeria. It is one of the main producers of ginger in the world and the major producers in Africa. Ginger grows well in a warm and humid climate and is cultivated from sea level to an altitude of 1500 m above sea level. It attains full maturity when the leaves turn yellow and start to dry at about 7 months to 10 months after planting.

In order to dry the ginger, it is harvested when fully mature and for maximum oil and oleoresin contents, it should be harvested at about 8-9 months. The cultivation of ginger in involves land preparation, planting, manuring, mulching, irrigation and harvesting. The ginger is washed and cleaned and then undergoes a drying process followed by packaging and storing.

Amisec Industrial Co. Limited offers Dry Split Ginger of Nigerian origin. The ginger is of a premium quality neat, clean and has no dirt, yeast or mould on it. It has a firm striated texture with a yellowish brownish skin which could be either thin or thick depending on when it is harvested. The dried ginger is greyish in colour and is cut in slices. It is tried naturally by air-sun drying it. It can be produced using organic or conventional methods of production. The company offers Grade A and Grade B in large and medium sizes.

The maximum moisture is 12%, there is no salmonella not detected in 125 grams and the mycotoxins within the EU-limit. It is widely used as a spice or herbal medicine because of its aromatic, pungent and hot taste. It can be used to make foods spicy and even as a food preservative and blended for your spices and tea.
