The company owns a storage facility where the fruit is stored at room temperature in corrugated boxes. Sea shipment is the preferred method of delivery and consignments are made ready in a period of 3 weeks following order notification.

The company has also undergone state testing procedures and has been evaluated as being pesticide-free. The company also holds an import license from the Malaysian government.

Daruma Agro owns a 14.17-hectare farm in Lahad Datu Sabah, Malaysia, where an average annual yield of 8 metric tons is harvested. Peak harvesting occurs in April, June and October. The region is known for its tropical climate, which is suitable for growing dragon fruit. The company grows the fruit conventionally, utilizing sustainable harvesting techniques and a staff compliment of 10 workers.

Daruma Agro offers fresh Red Dragon fruit, tailored for both consumption and further processing. The red variety is known to provide various health benefits due to its high fiber and antioxidant content. The fruit grows on long, thin, vining cactuses and has brightly colored oblong fruits that are about 10 centimeters in length and can weigh up to a pound. Red dragon fruit is considered a specialty food item in the global market and is therefore highly-priced. The company offers conventionally produced fruit that has a shelf life of 2 years, with sizes ranging from 400g – 800g. Samples are available upon request.
