AMI Global Pvt Ltd trades approximately 5000 metric tons of rice per year. The cultivation area is located in Pakistan which receives suitable rainfall and has adequate humidity levels. Rice is normally harvested in November and December. Some hybrid varieties are harvested in September and October. Rice is the basic food crop and being a tropical plant, it flourishes comfortably in a hot and humid climate. The average temperature required throughout the life period of the crop ranges from 21 to 37-degree celsius. It is mainly grown in rain-fed areas that receive heavy annual rainfall. Normally the appropriate harvesting time ranges from 30-35 days after flowering when 85-95% panicle becomes straw coloured. The harvested crop is kept 2-3 days for drying before threshing. The rice is organically farmed and there is no use of GMO.

Rice can serve as a good source of B vitamins (including thiamin, niacin, and riboflavin) and iron. It is also an excellent source of manganese and magnesium. The grain contains gluxit, lipid, protein, sugar, vitamins and minerals. It is a quick source of energy as they have high carbohydrates content and keeps the person full for a longer time.

Golden Sella Basmati Rice is a cultivar of basmati rice that has been parboiled or partially boiled while still in its husk and then milled. The rice is golden, yellow and white in colour. The long-grain rice has a delicate and pleasant aroma and amazing taste. They are more than 6.6 mm in length and the packaging has a maximum of 5% broken grain. The grain is suitable for household consumption and for commercial consumption. Rice is a non-perishable commodity and can be stored for a long period of time under controlled humidity and away from moisture.
