Selagro Processing Limited uses clean jute bags that are used in packaging the groundnut with the husk while the groundnut without the husk is packaged with clean propylene woven bags 25Kg - 50Kg bags. All the products are stored in clean and dry storage facilities. Land and sea freight are the main methods of export through the Port of Lagos or Apapa.

Selagro Processing Limited has its own cultivation area located in Nigeria. The crop is mainly grown in the northern part of Nigeria. Though groundnuts can be produced in most parts of the country and particularly in those regions where rainfall is over 1,000 mm per year. In sub-Saharan Africa, groundnut is a basic staple crop, cultivated mainly by small-scale farmers both as subsistence and as a cash crop. The cultivation method is highly sustainable environmentally friendly. Harvesting usually consists of a series of operations comprising digging, lifting, windrowing, stocking, and threshing. Harvesting is done when the crop reaches physiological maturity i.e. when a few leaves turn brown and the inner ribs of the groundnut are pronounced brown in color. All the pods are recovered when pulled out of the soil.

It is an important source of protein; its nutritional value has been exploited for combating malnutrition in children and other nutrients for poor rural communities. Being a grain legume, it is the 13th most important food crop of the world and the 4th most important source of edible oil. Most of the world's production of groundnuts is crushed for oil that is used mainly for cooking. The vegetative residues from the crop are excellent forage. That shelled peanuts last approximately for four weeks if stored under perfect condition. The samples of that nut are available upon request.
