Description
MAX NG can offer 2000 metric tons of sesame seeds for the purpose of export. The company is engaged with smallholding farmers, large scale farmers, farmer cooperatives and merchants in Nigeria. Both natural and mechanized machine cleaning techniques are used to cultivate, clean and pack the sesame seeds. The sesame plant is a versatile crop that thrives quite well in the Northern part of Nigeria due to its drought-resistant ability. The sesame plant takes 4 to 5 months to reach maturity. Harvesting begins when two-third of the plant and seed pods turn yellow. After harvesting the plant and obtaining the seeds, the sesame seeds are cleaned and dried before storing them. The cultivation methods for sesame seeds follow sustainable agriculture.
