Excellent Quality White and Brown Rice

The harvested rice is stored in controlled moisture and humidity levels. The product can be packaged in 50 kg PP bags and are stored in a well-fumigated warehouse. It is important to protect the harvested and stored rice fro any kind of insects and pests. The orders take around 2-3 weeks to be ready for shipment. Consignments are sent across the world through sea freight from the port of Dar Es Salaam Port.

Razeda Group Limited pays special attention to cleanliness and ensures that the quality of rice is Grade A with not more than 5% broken rice. The company produces only excellent quality and organic whole rice. They run strict quality checks prior to harvest, during the sorting and prior to the packaging process. The steps taken to ensure quality by the company include inspections at each stage of the grain. Inspection of the rice is done at the time of harvest, receiving and sorting, before packing, during packing and prior to shipping. The company is certified with Certificate of Incorporation.

The average production yield for the rice is 75 tonnes and the main harvest season is between the months of June-July. The optimum temperature for rice cultivation is between 25°C and 35°C and in temperate regions. Exposure to cold temperature affects all phonological stages of rice and lower grain production and yield too. It is mainly grown in rain-fed areas that receive heavy annual rainfall. It demands rainfall of more than 100 cm per year. The mature crop is cut and collected from the field during harvest which is followed by threshing which separates the grain from the stalk. The rice is then filtered and cleaned before storage and packing.

Rice can serve as a good source of B vitamins (including thiamin, niacin, and riboflavin) and iron. It is also an excellent source of manganese and magnesium. Rice also contains antioxidant properties that protect the heart by minimizing the occurrence of heart diseases and stroke. The husk has diuretic properties and is an efficient cure for dysentery. They contain mainly carbohydrates and some protein, with virtually no fat or sugar.

Razeda Group Limited offers broken and organically produced medium grain and short-grain rice. They offer polished white rice and dehusked brown rice of excellent and Grade A quality. There is a maximum of 5% broken rice and the size of the rice is ≥ 6.6 mm. It can be stored for a lifetime depending on the storage facility and humidity control. The rice can be used for direct consumption or further processing.
