Astral Exports has 5 state-of-the-art warehousing facilities for smooth and systematic storage and distribution of products. The warehouse prevents the exposure of fruits directly to sunlight and moisture. The bananas are packed in 7 kg, 13 kg and 18 kg boxes and stored in the segregated warehousing unit. After getting the purchase order, it takes 2-3 days for consignments to be readied for perishable items. The company prefers sea shipment through the port JNPT, Mumbai.

The ripe bananas can also be dried and consumed, or sliced, canned with syrup, and used in bakery products, fruit salads and toppings. It contains as much as 22% of carbohydrate and is high in dietary fibre, potassium, manganese, and vitamins B6 and C and the unripened bananas can be sliced and fried as chips.
