Diamond Fruits offers high-quality Category 1 fresh Hass Avocados from Colombia. The variety has dark green–coloured and bumpy skin. It is a large-sized fruit weighing between 200 to 300 grams. When ripe, the skin turns into a dark purplish-black and yields to gentle pressure. The fruit is ready to serve when it becomes white-green in the middle part of the inner fruit. Sizes 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30 and 32 are variable for order. They can be produced using conventional and organic cultivation methods. The prices of the avocados vary according to size, grade and seasonality. They can be used for direct consumption or further processing. Sample of the fruit is available upon request.

The products are sent to the packing facility after harvesting where they are packaged in 4 kg or 10 kg carton box/plastic box in a facility located in Colombia. They are then loaded into containers and sent to the Netherlands. In the Netherlands, avocados are placed in warehouses. Consignments are readied within a period of 3 weeks of order confirmation for destinations within Europe. The preferred delivery method is sea freight from the Alejandro Hernandez port.

Diamond Fruits pays special attention to product size and quality. The company has a GLOBAL GAP and GRASP certifications. They also have a Phytosanitary certificate and have been certified for its socially conscious business practices.

The farms are located in Antioquia and Huila, Colombia and cover over 200 hectares. Harvesting occurs all year with peak season occurring from mid-August to April. 24 kgs to 48 kgs are exported every week. Following harvesting, the avocados are washed, sized and graded at the company's packing facility. The company also partners with local avocado farmers to supplement and boost the production quantities. The avocados are produced according to organic and conventional production methods.
