Description
The average annual yield for mustard seeds is 800 MT out of which 500 MT is reserved for the purpose of export. Mustard seeds are harvested all year round in Myanmar at a farm in the Southern Shan region that has a 300-acre plantation. The area is mountainous, with cool, dry and humid weather. The highest yield is observed in November and December. The production process involves manual watering of the crop, removing the roots and sun drying the black ginger. The company practices a sustainable farming model, utilising manual cropping and yielding methods. They have a staff complement of 200 workers who assist in the production process.

Description
Mustard seeds are fruit pods obtained from the mustard plant, in the Brassica family. The seeds are nearly globular in shape, finely pitted, odourless when whole, and pungent-tasting. They are rich in a nutrient called selenium, known for its high anti-inflammatory effects. The high source of magnesium in mustard seeds helps to reduce the severity of asthma attacks and certain symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and lowering blood pressure.
