Fresh Grapes from India

Greenland Fresco is a leading agro exporter from India with a rich export portfolio. It mainly deals with residue-free fruits and vegetables across several geographies. It ensures to keep pace with the latest technology and market requirements to ensure stability and sustainability towards fulfilling customer demands. It has in-house packaging and shipping facilities as well as a quality check division. Its main clients are wholesalers and distributors in the UAE, Qatar and Oman. The aim is to expand its reach to markets in the Middle East, South East and North-East Asia.

The grapes are directly sourced from the farm and the sorting packaging process is done at APED approved packhouse. The grapes are loaded into the refrigerated container at 1⁰c. The packaging is done in:

- 4kg box (8 pouches each of 500 gm.)

- 5kg box (10 punnets, each of 500 gm.)

- 8kg box (10 pouches/punnets, each of 800 gms).

Consignments are ready within 7 days of order confirmation. Sea freight is the preferred delivery method by the company and the nearest ports are JNPT and Mumbai Port

The company pays special attention to product quality parameters such as freshness, specified variety and sugar content of 16 brix. They have self-defined, strict quality procedures to meet international standards. Hygiene and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) is one of the priorities of the company. The company is a member of APEDA and FIEO.

The average production yield of grapes is 1000 metric tons per year. The main harvesting season for tomatoes is between December and April. Cultivation area is located in Maharashtra and Karnataka, India. The company adheres to global standards with regards to all the production processes The cultivation methods used for production are sustainable in nature and manual practices are utilised during harvesting, sorting and packing. 200 farmers are involved in the entire production process.

Grapes are known for their velvety colour and sweet flavour, come packed with nutrients and antioxidants. They contain Lutein and Zeaxanthin, which are carotenoids, known to help in maintaining good eyesight. The anti-mutagenic and antioxidant properties are very effective in combating all kinds of cancer, including breast cancer. The compound resveratrol is a rich source of anti-oxidants and certain elements that are capable of destroying the energy source of cancerous cells.

Greenland Fresco offers fresh grapes of Indian origin. They offer the following varieties of seedless grapes

1. Thompson seedless

2. Sonaka seedless

3. Sharad seedless

4. Jumbo seedless

The colour of the grape can be white, green or crimson red depending upon the variety. They have a sugar content of at least 16 brix and diameter from 15mm to 18mm. The grapes have a shelf life of 40 days and are suitable for direct consumption. Samples available upon request.
