Tambuli Group established itself in 2012 as a processor, trader, and exporter of rice, sesame seed, green mung beans, cardamom, maize, soybean, red beans, pigeon pea, and cocoa bean. The company is a team of knowledgeable and experienced personnel managing all of the operations. The operations of the company include the purchase of commodities, warehousing and packing, documentation, preparations of shipments and processing of payments.

They have established themselves with a wide network of agents for sourcing Agri Commodities from all over the country at farm gate prices within a particular season which in turn gives us a competitive edge in setting favourable selling prices than most of the suppliers. The company transports approximately 2 million tonnes of agricultural commodities around the world annually. The company has experience in exporting to the Middle Eastern countries (UAE and Saudi) and parts of Asia (India and Pakistan mainly). They also have experience exporting to Algeria and Egypt. The company wishes to expand its sales in Western Europe and North America markets.

Tambuli Group stores its cardamom produce in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. The warehouse serves as temporary storage for treatment of seeds to ensure that there is no loss in the quantity and quality (nutritional value) of the spice. The cardamom is packed in 25 kg PP bags and these bags get placed at dry storage facilities. Each consignment takes a 3 weeks lead time before it is ready for shipment. The mode of shipment is by sea and port of shipment is Dar ES Salaam Port.

Tambuli Group ensures that the entire production process goes through inspects, auditing and control. It is ensured that the cardamom is insect free and the standard specifications like admixture (2 % max), shape(long oval), moisture(12% max) and the colour are at par with the standards. It is ensured that the farmers don't use any chemicals and fertilize their farms using natural manures and products.

Cardamom is produced using organic and non-GMO methods of production in the region of Tanzania, East Africa. The region has excellent agri-climatic conditions for cardamom cultivation as the crop grows well in hot, humid, and tropical climates. Harvesting usually occurs in May and August but depending on the weather conditions, harvesting can occur at several times throughout the year. After harvesting cardamom is either dried in the sun (getting grey) or dried in the shade (where it remains green).

Cardamom is known for its small seed pods which are triangular in cross-section and spindle-shaped, with a thin, papery outer shell and small black seeds inside. The tiny, green pods of cardamom pack numerous health benefits in them. It is known to help lower blood pressure and manage blood sugar thanks to its high magnesium levels. The antioxidant compounds in cardamom may help protect cells from damage and slow down and prevent inflammation in the body and cardamom may protect against digestive issues and has been shown to reduce the number and size of stomach ulcers. It is also known as the queen of spices, cardamom is a high-value cash crop, used all over the world to the season, preserve, and enhance the flavour of food.

Tambuli Group offers the Whole cardamom from Tanzania. The produce is free from any insects and has a maximum of 2% of admixture in packaging. The whole cardamom has a white colour and a typical long oval shape. The moisture level is 12% at maximum. Cardamom is a spice which comes from the seed pod of plants in the ginger family.
