The cashew nuts are grown in Ivory Coast, the cultivation method is organic with conventional Non-GMO plants. The harvesting season is from February to June. The cashew nuts are harvested together with the cashew apple by hand or mechanically. The nut is separated from the apple, and it is dried in the sun while still in its shell, then the shell is cooked to ease the shell cutting, then the shell is cut for the shelled nuts, and the cashew kernel is dried, peeled, graded and packed.
