SEA stores its sweet potatoes in the storage facilities at the farms. The storage n temperatures is between 50 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit, dry, and in a well ventilated area. The refrigeration of sweet potatoes is not advised unless it is cooked, because the cold temperatures will give the potatoes a hard core and cause a flavor loss. The packaging can be negotiated but the standard packaging is a 40 lb carton box. The consignment gets ready for shipment within 1 week of order confirmation. SEA offers sustainably sourced, premium quality fresh sweet potatoes cultivated at Mississippi. The variety offered by the company are the Beauregard, Evangeline, O'Henry and Bonita. The Beauregard sweet potato, is the variety most produced in Mississippi. It has a smooth, rosy outer skin and has a deep orange colored flesh. The Evangeline also has an orange flesh.

The O'Henry and Bonita have white flesh. Sweet potatoes are a great source of nutrition by having high contents of Vitamin B6, C, A, iron, potassium, fiber and have low contents of fat and sodium. It helps the digestive tract, the immune system and also develops immunity power. The company offers US Grade 1, US Grade 2, and industrial grade sweet potatoes which can be used for consumption or for bio-fuel production. The validity of this product is up to 5 weeks in normal room temperature and up to 3 months if kept refrigerated.
