Rice is normally harvested in November yo Mid mid-January. Rice is the basic food crop and being a tropical plant, it flourishes comfortably in a hot and humid climate. The average temperature required throughout the life period of the crop ranges from 21 to 37-degree celsius. It is mainly grown in rain-fed areas that receive heavy annual rainfall. Normally the appropriate harvesting time ranges from 30-35 days after flowering when 85-95% panicle becomes straw coloured. The harvested crop is kept 2-3 days for drying before threshing. The rice is organically farmed and there is no use of GMO.

Rice can serve as a good source of B vitamins (including thiamin, niacin, and riboflavin) and iron. It is also an excellent source of manganese and magnesium.
