Antartic Corp S.A has state of the art cold storages at both of the plants where they store their finished products under -20 Degree Celsius temperature. They use Low-Density Polyethylene and carton boxes in various sizes depending on the weight of their products. Each consignment takes a maximum of 2 weeks to ship from the date of the order confirmation. The most preferred way of shipping is either by sea via Piura Port which is 150 km from the plant or via air via Piura Airport which is 50 km from the plant.

Antartic Corp S.A can produce 1500 MT of giant squids per year. The harvest season of giant squids is from January to September. The company owns two processing plants in the coastal Peruvian area. The location of the first plant is Sechura of Piura province and the location of the second plant is La Joya of Arequipa province. The combined area of two processing plants is 30,000 Square Meters, with the processing capability of 70MT/day. The Sechura plant of the Northern coast is the place where the processing of scallops goes on round the year. The company supports local fishermen by acquiring their entire harvest on regular basis. Apart from that they also teach them the intricate details of sustainable fishing practices. A team of around 200 highly skilled employees conduct the entire processing of the giant squids right from the selection and sorting, cleaning and washing the squids, weighting the products and sorting them for processing purposes, gutting and filleting the squids by following strict quality standard, coding the products, freezing the fishes following IQF methods, packaging as per requirement and finally putting the finished products inside cold storages under specified temperature and humidity.

Antartic Corp S.A offers premium quality sustainably sourced frozen giant squids of four different species and these species are Dosidicus, Gigas, Loligo, and Gahi species. The product presentation can be whole, fillet, wings, tentacles, sex organs, neck, and cones. The product is ideal for both consumption and further processing. The squid which is famously known as ‘Calamari’ has white and slight chewy meat with a mild flavor. This product has a high concentration of Vitamin 12, calcium, and a very low amount of saturated fats. These products can be consumed for 2 years from the date of packaging. The samples of these products are available for buyers.
