Shalibhadra Industries has its own warehouses where the salt is stored away from direct heat, sunlight and moisture. The standard package sizes are 1Kg, 5Kg, 25Kg, 50Kg and 1MTs PP bags packaging options. Consignment is ready for shipment 1 week after the order is confirmed. Preferred mode of transport is by sea via the Munda port.

It pays attention to specifications like insoluble, moisture, iodine content and the alkalinity levels of the salt. The entire process is done using automatic machinery to avoid any human touch. Shalibhadra Industries an average production yield of 50,000 mt per year. The salt is harvested between the months of November and February. This marks the beginning of the winter season in the region. The follow the method of sea farming in which the harvested from shallow ponds called salterns through natural solar evaporation. As water evaporates from the shallow ponds, the salt in the water becomes more concentrated. When the water reaches about 25% salinity, the salt starts to crystallize and it can be harvested. The harvesting process is conventional and it is ensured that the salt remains untouched by human hands. They utilise automatic machinery for the entire process. The entire production process ensures that the quality of salt is excellent.

The sea salt has a shelf life of 6-12 months if stored under controlled heat and humidity.
