Description
The average production yield is 100000 kg per month and the main harvesting season for turmeric in the region is from October to March. The manufacturing plant has more than 500 units of manufacturing equipment and is located in Indonesia. Cultivation of the root is done manually by the labours and the cleaning process includes percolators vacuumed evaporators and vacuumed belt dryers. Turmeric is a tropical plant in the same family as ginger. It has large green leaves and grows 3 or more feet tall. As the plant matures each stem sends up a spike of greenish-white and occasionally pink flowers. The turmeric thrives in warm, humid conditions and well-drained, neutral soil. The company also has the production capacity and equipment to extract powder from the tumeric.

The production process follows to extract turmeric powder is:
- Percolation: Process of removing the active substance from raw materials, such as leaves.
- Evaporation: Process that concentrates or thickens the product and is a tool for the recovery of solvents used in the percolator.
- Deep sterilization: Process is performed after the evaporation process. The goal is for condensation and to free the product from bacteria and microorganisms.
- Vacuum belt drying: Used to dry products into small granules of powder. The advantage is a short drying process, that does not eliminate the smell of the product. no oxidation, no loss of product, low temperatures, no pollution, hygienic systems and the reaction products can be controlled.
