Selagro Processing Limited uses clean jute bags that are used in packaging the groundnut with the husk while the groundnut without the husk is packaged with clean propylene woven bags 25Kg - 50Kg bags. All the products are stored in clean and dry storage facilities. Land and sea freight are the main methods of export through the Port of Lagos or Apapa.

Selagro Processing Limited owns a cultivation area in the Shea region of Nigeria. The Shea region in Nigeria is responsible for the highest production of Shea nuts in the world with an estimated Shea nut harvest of 500 metric tons/per year, which is equivalent to approximately 50% of the total Shea yield in Africa. Shea trees grow wildly throughout the country in Nigeria. The harvesting period for Shea Nuts in Nigeria runs from June till about November. The fruits are allowed to ripen on the tree and then drop to the ground. The method of cultivation is highly sustainable and environmentally friendly. Harvesting is done manually by wild picking.

Selagro Processing Limited offers premium quality sustainably sourced organic Shea Nuts of Nigerian origin at a highly competitive price. Characteristically these nuts are in dried and loose form, between 40% - 49% fat content, maximum 10% moisture content, maximum 2% admixture, and FFA between 4% -5%. It is commonly known as Shea Tree (Vitellaria paradoxa) and it is indigenous to Africa. The Shea fruit consists of a thin, tart, nutritious pulp that surrounds a relatively large, oil-rich seed from which Shea butter is extracted. The Bark is used for medicinal purposes; its trunk makes excellent cooking fuel and wood for construction. The butter extracted from the fruit can be used for medicine and cosmetic purposes; it is also used in chocolate making factories and pastry production where it is used as a substitute for cocoa butter.
