The types of cashew nuts in Vietnam are based on size, color, and the rupture of the cashew nuts. They are divided into different categories and earmarked in symbols that classify them correctly. Moreover, every type of cashew nut has a specific price tag based on the size of the cashew nut (big or small), including color (light, yellow, or brown). A cracked nut also has unique pricing, while a large nut will cost higher than a small nut.
The number signified how many kernels are there in 1 lb of cashew (Higher the number, smaller the cashew). W320 cashew is the mainly produced/ most preferred cashew kernels in the Vietnam and international markets such as the US, Netherlands, China, and UAE.
Domestic consumption packages often contain Class 2 cashew nuts and a mix of whole, split and broken kernels, and pieces. Cashews that are exported are Class 1 or extra grade.
