Raspberry is packaged so that all of the product is properly protected. The containers must be free of foreign materials and odors, and the material used for packaging must be clean and new. Fresh raspberries must be presented only in packages of a net weight of not more than 500 G.
- The fresh raspberries must be uniform concerning their maturation, color, and size.
- The visible part of the package must be representative of the total content.
- The fresh raspberries must be packed in such a way that all the product is properly protected.
- The material used for packaging must be new, clean, and of such quality as to avoid external or internal damage to the product. The use of materials, in particular paper or stamps, that carry commercial specifications is allowed, as long as they are printed or labeled with non-toxic ink or adhesives.
- The containers used in the packaging of the fresh and frozen raspberry must be free of foreign materials and odors and must meet the characteristics of quality, hygiene, ventilation, and resistance required to ensure proper handling and distribution while preserving their original properties.
- The fresh raspberries must be presented only in packages of a net weight of not more than 500 G.
- Cardboard boxes or plastic bags of 5-20 KG are used for fresh raspberry packing once they have been packed into 500 G packages.
- Boxes used are: Dimension LxWxD (mm): 121 x 121 x 47, and Capacity: 170 grams LxWxH= Length x Width x Height.
- Dimensions (mm): 393 x 247 x 94, Clamshells per tray: 12, Trays per pallet: 240 & Clamshells per pallet: 2880.
- The materials used for the boxes are corrugated cardboard.
- Fresh raspberries are kept under 4-6º C for a few days.
- Frozen raspberries are stored in freezer bags made of plastic and temperatures are kept at -20º C.
