How Is the Price Determined for Mexican Cucumber?

• Farmgate price: USD 4.99 - 13.83 per 1/19 bushel carton
• Export price: USD 10 - 15 per 1/19 bushel carton
• Price by grade would be, for example, USD 15 for Super select, USD 13 for Select, etc.
• The price is relative to the daily market prices. If we have a consignment deal with the grower, we have to search for a $10-15 USD target price or more because we are going to receive 10-12% of the total sales commission. If we have spot prices, it will be a 5-8% profit margin depending on the cost of the product.
• Wholesale price: USD 16.18 - 22.74 per 1/19 bushel carton
• For August 28 - September 18, 2021
• Profit Margin: USD 1.17 - 10.01 per 1/19 bushel carton
• Contract: 10-12% (Commission)
