When should we approach the French market for exporting Spanish mangoes?

Spain’s mango export to France peaks every September-October right at the start of the opening of the mangos season.

However, Brazil, France’s major exporter for mangoes reaches the peak export volume during December. The season before the end of Spanish mango harvest November seems to be the best time to approach and sell to France.

Spanish mangoes can compete directly with Brazilian mangoes, the surge in Brazilian mango volumes lowers the price levels in the market and Spanish mango which is highly preferred can compete with Brazil at a slightly higher price and still be able to maintain sales profit.
