Germany, France, and the UK are the top three importers of Spanish mandarin. A decrease of mandarin production by 9.53% YoY to 2.12M mt will affect overall export from Spain in the 2022/23 season.

Germany remains the number one destination for Spanish mandarins, increasing 16.42% YoY up to USD 511.72 in comparison to 2020. France and United Kingdom combined take 30.98% of the export share, with a total export value of USD 541.53M. For season 2022/23, expectations are that the export will decrease in volume due to lower production of Spanish mandarins. Production of fresh mandarins in Spain for season 2021/22 declined 9.53% YoY to 2.12M mt.
