Fitrite Incorporated is a 100 % Filipino owned company. Fitrite was founded in 1956 to serve as a supplier of dental supplies, switched to making food in 1974 as a result of rising consumer demand. In addition to the domestic market, exports were made to the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Canada, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, and other Asian nations in 1982. Licensed to export fish products to the European Economic Community by the European Council. Among the certifications are BFAR's HACCP and GMP (Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources).

The business started making fruit juices, nectar, and jellies. These are made with top-notch food processing equipment and packaged in flexible containers with integrated straws.
