Adecoagro lost a mountain of money with the agricultural business in the first part of fiscal year 2025 and plans to reduce the sowing area by 21.8% for the next campaign. The agro-industrial company, controlled by the cryptocurrency corporation Tether, could not take advantage in the quarter ending last September 30 of the bullish impact promoted by the regime of temporary suspension of export rights (possibly because it had sold most of the soybeans before the implementation of the measure).
