In the broadcast of AGROPOPULAR on April 30, we spoke with Elena Diéguez, technical secretary of AECERIBER (Spanish Association of Iberian Pig Breeders) about the Government's support plan to help producers cope with the consequences of the war in Ukraine , which has left out several sectors, including the Iberian pig sector. The white pig sector, rabbits, poultry, eggs and turkeys have also been left out of these aids. The rise in production costs due to the increase in feed prices has affected all these livestock sectors. According to Diéguez, “we have protested because we cannot understand the reasons why this sector has been left out of the aid plan.
