Agricultural Cooperatives Headquarters-Goju-mo Gyeonggi Provincial Branch, 'Love Kimchi' Sharing Event

The Gyeonggi Province Agricultural Cooperative (Head Eom Beom-sik) and the Gyeonggi Province Branch of the Association of Hometown Housewives (President Jeong U-suk) held a 'Love Kimchi Sharing Event and Rice Consumption Promotion Campaign' on the 10th in Boritgol Village, Yangpyeong County. This event was organized to support difficult neighbors within Gyeonggi Province with kimchi and rice to help them have a warm winter, and to promote the consumption of domestic agricultural products. Despite the chilly weather, around 70 members of the Gyeonggi Province Branch of the Association of Hometown Housewives and Agricultural Cooperative employees participated in the event to practice neighborly love. On this day, 2.7 tons (10 kg, 270 boxes) of kimchi and 1.5 tons (4 kg, 375 bags) of rice were delivered to 31 social welfare facilities and marginalized groups within the province.
