LOGROÑO, Dec 22 (EUROPA PRESS) - The Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural World, Territory and Population, Eva Hita, and the General Director of Agriculture and Livestock, María Jesús Miñana, have met today with representatives of the Technological Center of the Champiñón (CTICH), from the Professional Association of Substrate and Mushroom Producers of La Rioja, Navarra and Aragón (ASOCHAMP), growers and companies in the sector to advance in the search for solutions to the Dactylium fungus that has affected the productions of La Rioja and from other territories, as the fungus becomes resistant to the treatment usually applied. The Ministry of Agriculture has once again offered the CTICH and the sector continued technical support, through the General Directorate of Agriculture and Livestock, to support the research and experimentation of effective products that can be registered for use against the fungal disease that has been shown resistant to treatments.
