In the early months of 2025, Kazakhstan has witnessed a notable shift in the production of traditional dairy products. Sour mare's milk wine saw a significant increase of 7.2% year-on-year, reaching 178 tons from January to February, compared to the same period in 2024. On the other hand, camel milk production experienced a slight decrease, dropping by 2.8% to 184 tons. The fluctuations in the production of these dairy products over the past few years highlight the dynamic nature of Kazakhstan's agricultural market. Furthermore, the country has seen a surge in fruit consumption in the fourth quarter of 2024, with per capita quarterly consumption increasing by 4.9% to 18 kg.
