In their September report, IGC analysts raised the forecast for world wheat production in 2022/23 MR — to 791.9 million tons against 778 million tons according to the previous forecast. At the same time, the forecast of the final stocks of wheat in the world also increased. This is reported by APC-Inform. In particular, the experts made an upward adjustment of the grain harvest in Australia - up to 32.2 (31; 36.3) million tons, in Canada - up to 34.7 (33; 22.3) million tons, in the EU - up to 133.3 (132; 138.3) million tons, the Russian Federation — up to 93.4 (87.6; 75) million tons, Ukraine — up to 21.5 (19.4; 33) million tons, as well as in India — up to 106.8 (105 ; 109.6) million tons. In turn, analysts lowered the forecast for wheat production in Argentina due to the persistence of severe drought — to 18 (18.5; 22.1) million tons.
