Russia: Apple harvest may decrease by a third

The harvest of commercial apples in Russia this year may decrease by approximately 30-35% compared to 2023 due to unfavorable weather conditions. This forecast was announced to Agroinvestor by the CEO of the company "Technologies of Growth" Tamara Reshetnikova. "In August, they only started to collect summer varieties, and the harvest of autumn and winter varieties will begin later, but judging by the condition of the fruits on the branches, the harvest will be much less than last year, especially in the Center," she says.
