After two sessions of the so-called "soybean dollar", the Minister of Economy of Argentina, Sérgio Massa, stated that his new tool will now be the "agro dollar". The objective is to expand and intensify Argentine agribusiness exports and, also according to the minister, to bring some help to producers after such aggressive losses caused by one of the worst droughts in the country's history.
