Australian mango farmers in Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam are facing challenges due to low productivity and falling prices, leading to significant losses. The average price has dropped from 15,000 - 20,000 VND/kg to 3,000 - 4,000 VND/kg, too low to cover harvesting costs. Unfavorable weather and increased competitive pressure from China and Cambodia have further reduced exports. The People's Committee of Cam Lam district is seeking business support for consumption of Australian mangoes and is promoting the improvement of quality and food safety to meet export standards. The Khanh Hoa Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection will guide farmers in applying good agricultural practices and integrated plant health management to enhance quality.
