Barley has good productivity and favorable prices.

The Agricultural Economic Bulletin released this Thursday (13) by the Department of Rural Economy (Deral), from the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (Seab), pointed to progress in the barley harvest in Paraná. After a period of intense rains, the recent days of stable weather favored the rapid evolution of the work. "The percentage of harvested area increased from 56% to 83% in just one week," reported the Deral analysts. The more intense pace of harvesting was observed mainly in the district of Entre Rios, in Guarapuava. According to the bulletin, the forecast of rains starting on the 12th, with an expectation of five rainy days in the state, also contributed to accelerating the activities in the areas still in the field, whenever weather conditions allow.
