Beans: Mixed picture in producing regions of Brazil

According to the latest report released by the National Supply Company (Conab), the bean crop situation presents different variables in the main producing states. In Paraná, the drop in temperature in the last week was not accompanied by frost, preserving crops. Harvesting continues with no signs of losses, and most of the growing areas remain in good condition. In Bahia, the harvest has recently started. However, rainfed crops face challenges due to water restriction. On the other hand, the irrigated areas show a more encouraging scenario, thanks to the use of supplemental irrigation that helps to overcome the dry conditions. In Minas Gerais, particularly in the Triângulo Mineiro and Alto Paranaíba regions, crops have been in good condition, with promising yield prospects.
