Beef/Cepea: Meat prices increase; price of animals for slaughter remains stable

Wholesale beef prices in Greater São Paulo have seen slight increases in the first weeks of February, according to a survey by Cepea. The prices per arroba of beef for slaughter have remained stable and/or slightly depreciated.
